Securities Transfers
We have partnered with DonateStock.com to enable our supporters with online brokerage accounts to make stock donations in 10 minutes or less. By clicking the button above, you can donate stock from your brokerage directly to our account through a secure portal, making the gifting process fast, safe and easy.
If you prefer to give via Electronic Transfer, please see below for the routing instructions for our foundations. If your stock is held at a broker, notify the broker that you wish to make a gift of securities to us. Your broker will need written authorization from you before they can make the transfer. Be sure to tell them the name of the stock that you want to transfer, the number of shares, and where you would like your gift to be designated.
NOTE: Due to the Patriot Act, the donor names does not always convey with the transfer. We also ask that you contact Gift Administration either by email at gifts@wm.edu or by calling (757) 221-1008 to let us know that the gift is in process. Shares are often transferred into our account without information, including the donor's name. Your phone call will allow us to match up your name with the correct stock gift.
