Get to Know the Estes
When Rob ’74 and Jean ’75 Estes graduated from William & Mary, they had no idea their relationship with the College would continue. But over the past 40 years, the Estes have remained deeply committed to their alma mater. From the 1693 Scholars Program to their steadfast support of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business, their generosity has inspired others, and their latest initiative — The Estes Challenge — is no exception.
Q: Why did you decide to institute this challenge?
A: “We believe in what the College represents and its mission. We believe we got an education that prepared us for life. We also believe it’s getting less easy for the current generation to afford college and we want other people to get the same opportunities that we had.”
Q: Why would you encourage others to participate in the challenge?
A: “Join us and be a part of this. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and professors at the Business School, and they really are the lifeblood here.”
