As the situation with the COVID-19 outbreak continues to unfold, and using the university’s policies as a guide, we are working together to do everything we can to protect the health and well-being of all those around us and join the national effort to slow the spread of this virus. In the Office of University Advancement, as well as in schools and units across the university, we are carefully considering each of our events and initiatives and are making difficult decisions about how to move forward in this ever-evolving situation. We also want to be respectful of the significant hardships the outbreak has created for many in our community.
With this in mind, we believe the best course of action is to reschedule One Tribe One Day until Tuesday, June 23. We feel it is important to still hold this annual tradition, especially for what it represents as a day for our community to come together in support of each other and William & Mary. The June date will give us time to reimagine this day of giving for our present situation and still finish our For the Bold campaign strong.
