Impact Week Spring 2021 is a week-long competition in which three student organizations compete to receive grant funding to complete their proposed community service project that will benefit the local William & Mary or Williamsburg community.
To receive funding, organizations encourage fellow students to vote for their project in the form of a $5 gift to William & Mary that can benefit any area of campus.
As students at William & Mary, we feel we have a responsibility to give back to the town that has given so much to our school and its students. Impact Week gives us the perfect opportunity to create positive impact in the Williamsburg community. Whether by simply voting for your favorite project or applying with your organization to receive funding for a project, you can make a difference for the people of Williamsburg. Many Williamsburg-area residents rely on tourism, the service industry and college students being on campus for their livelihoods, and each of those areas took major hits this year. While there is always a need in Williamsburg, there is no better time to make an impact than now. Seniors: An Impact Week vote counts as your Senior Class Gift!
